Go Green On Everything May Not Be A Bad Idea
When it comes to home and garden products, it’s a sure thing that people will take notice, because it literally means stuff for your home and garden needs, the need is endless and timeless, and there is no exception. The home and garden category is phenomenally huge, and there are new products joining this category every day, when new ones come in, old ones phase out, one reason is that technology advance makes a lot of thing obsolete and bring us a lot more new products, another interesting reason is that when society is evolving, products have to follow suit, here is the most prominent example, the household solar water heater, we don’t see these a few years ago, now you see them anywhere when it’s practical, both social and technological evolution makes this happen, obviously, I just use this one as an eye opener, you’ll find a lot more interesting examples like this one.
Anyway, let’s go back to the basics. A lot of traditional home and garden products evolved, some of them are the same as maybe more than ten years ago, take garden glove as an example, it’s no surprise that there will be new materials to be used for garden gloves, since we use these gloves for so long we get used to the usual suspect. And here comes moving pads , we might think cotton ones were cool 15 years ago, it’s most likely people are using recycled materials to make these pads, most likely there are no moving pads made from natural cotton any more, the recycled material is both cost and environment wise choice. Here is one more example, camo blankets, for obvious reason almost all these on the market have recycled material inside, if you want cotton ones you probably still can find them, and some people will demand and find some other natural material made ones, for me the choice is straight forward, only the ones made from recycled stuff, it gives me warm feeling when I use something made from recycled stuff, since this planet is my home I don’t want any thing incurable happens to it.
Anything renewable and sustainable is good for this world, especially the most important things like energy and basic material, if you feel what I feel, you will find pay the price to go green is well worth it, do what we have to for our earth, there will be a bright future waiting for the earth and human race.
